What is Fixture Difficulty Rating (FDR) in FPL?
FDR is a score from 1–5 given to each Premier League fixture based on the relative strength of the opposition. A score of 1 means an easy fixture against weak opposition, while 5 means a very tough fixture against a top team. It helps Fantasy Premier League managers plan transfers and captains.
How is FDR calculated?
KickStats Hub calculates FDR using a combination of Elo ratings (which measure overall team strength), recent form, home/away factors, and historical performance data. It is recalculated after every gameweek.
Which teams have the best fixtures right now?
Open the KickStats Hub Fixture Difficulty tab to see the live FDR table ranked by average difficulty over the next 5 matches. Teams with the lowest average FDR have the easiest upcoming run.
How do I use FDR for FPL captaincy?
Look for your premium players (Salah, Haaland, Palmer etc.) facing a team with FDR 1–2. These are your captain locks. Avoid captaining stars with FDR 4–5 fixtures even if they are in form.
Is this FDR tool free?
Yes — the full FDR table, colour-coded ratings and fixture lists are completely free on KickStats Hub. Pro unlocks the Fantasy Hints tab with captain suggestions and differential picks.
